How do I turn on the customer display?
A second screen where the customer watches their bill being built.
- Connect a second screen over HDMI and turn it towards the customer.
- From Settings → Printers and devices → Customer display, tap "Open customer display". It opens full-screen on the external monitor automatically.
- The customer sees items appear moment by moment, the discount, the total, and after payment their change in large type.
- There is no button on it — the customer only reads, and cannot change anything.
- With no second screen it opens an ordinary window you can drag yourself, which is useful for trying it before you buy one.
