How do I import my items from Excel?
Upload the file and see what will happen before anything changes.
- From Settings → Items and data, download the blank template first if you do not already have a file.
- Required columns: name and price. The rest are optional: barcode, cost, category, quantity and reorder level.
- Once you pick the file we show a full plan: how many items will be added, how many updated, and which rows have a problem — before anything is changed.
- Matching is by barcode first, then name, so an existing item is updated rather than duplicated.
- You can also export your items, edit prices in Excel and upload the same file back.
